Yesterday I found these two spiders at Leerdam, Netherlands, in a small piece of wooded area near the river Linge. I think they are Lycosidae. Is it possible to put a genus or even species name to them? Thanks in advance! Jan Zwaaneveld attached the following image: ![]() [145.55Kb] http://slamenietd...web-log.nl |

1. Lycosidae. Pretty hopeless I guess. 2. Pisauridae, Pisaura mirabilis. (closely related to Lycosidae). Edited by Xespok on 28-03-2007 20:32 Gabor Keresztes Japan Wildlife Gallery Carpathian Basin Wildlife Gallery |

Hello! Xespok wrote: 1. Lycosidae. Pretty hopeless I guess. Not quite. Almost surely Pardosa amentata (female). The by far most numerous spider here in the moment :-). 1 . Pardosa sp. -- 2. Pisaura mirabilis You can see the new www.aranhas.info in Portuguese and I'm helping to build it, but it could provide some good hints for species in ESP?CIES section. ![]() ![]() Edited by jorgemotalmeida on 29-03-2007 21:40 |
