Cophinopoda species. Two species are known from Japan: oldroydi and chinensis. Tsacas & Artigas (1994) offer the following key: (male) Absence de dents sur le bord supérieur interne de l'épandrium, extrémité des dististyles, en vue caudale, droite ou courbées .... oldroydi - Une dent médiane, triangulaire sur le bord supérieur interne de chaque côté de l'épandrium, extrémité des dististyles, en vue caudale, courbée vers l'extérieur .... chinenis (female) 13. Sternite VIII, échancrure médiane à bords plus ou moins évasés, 2 ou plus épines latérales ... oldroydi - Stemite VIII, échancrure médiane à bords arrondi; une, rarement 2, épines latérales .... chinensis Edited by Dysmachus on 10-02-2013 22:50 |

Vielen Dank für die Informationen, Dysmachys. But I am not a specialist of flies, so this is not easyfor me to define which species.
