I learned that a friend of mine planned a trip to Ecuador and asked her to catch some insects for me. And she really did, with a single fly among them (she's not much of an insect collector yet...). Early March 2007, size ca. 8mm. I hope it's a common species...

Copestylum, around 200 or so described species and another 2 - 300 undescribed..... So enjoy!

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
