Hello, This fly was in border of a wood at Estinnes (Belgium). The picture was made early july. The fly is about 12 mm lenght. Can't anyone help me? Thank's. Claude |

It's a species of Tachinidae. It's either Dexia or Dexiosoma, I forgot... |

Menno is right, it is Dexiosoma, 1 species only: caninum. The female of Dexia vacua is quite similar, but very rare. Theo Zeegers |
