another one I can't define exactly is this.
Might it be Urophora cardui ?
(althohgh I wonder about the green eyes)

Hi Claus,

I think Martin is right, it looks like Rhagoletis cerasi, there's a small chance it's R. berberidis, but it looks more cerasi to me. The difference is not easy to see on this photo, I'ld need a good view on the wing, for the difference between the two is most easily seen on the length of the apical wing band. But unless you have photographed it on Berberis, I;ld say you have R. cerasi here.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
