This fly was found dead 8 September indoors in N Scotland (Cromarty, NH76). I key it out as Piezura pardalina. Can anyone confirm, please? And does anyone know the status of this in Scotland? I have not been able to trace any records.

A shot of the wing follows.

I am not sure where the first pic went, so I try again.

This has been confirmed as P. pardalina, and the specimen is in NMS in Edinburgh. Second Scottish record, and farther north by a long way from the first.
