This robber has emerged from Tamarix wood, I think it's very propably predator of Buprestis (Pseudyamina) bilyi. Is it possible to ID?

Thanks! Wink

This is Stiphrolamyra vitai Hradsky & Geller-Grimm (female), a very nice Laphriinae (Ctenotini). When described (from Algeria and Marocco, 1997) the authors noted that some of their specimens were also reared from Tamarix! Please submit these nice photos to the gallery.

Cheers, Eric

Daniele,

The requirements for valid file names are apparently very specific (I haven't submitted a photo to the gallery myself). Here are some requirements listed in the FAQ's section:

How do I get my images into the Gallery?
You can submit your images using the Submit Photo link in the left Navigation Panel. Make sure you use a proper name fot the file and do not uses spaces or outlandish characters in the name either. Any additional text you can later add as comment when viewing the image from the relevant album.

What are the requirements of the images?
The maximum file size is 150000 bytes, the format should be .gif, .jpg or .png and the maximum dimensions for submitted photos are 1800*1800 pixels. They will be rescaled automatically. There should be NO spaces in the files names or uploading will fail.

Cheers, Eric
