Hi flyforum, This Calliphora looks a bit like Calliphora vomitoria but I can not find any reddish beard.. And the colour of the eyes? Isn't it too much traffic-red? Nikita is right. In 'all' Calliphora (high mountain and boreal species excluded) the lower calyptra is distinctly darkened. If it's not, it should be Melinda. Theo Zeegers |

Thank you Nikita and Theo, on picture 2, I see a calyptra which is white but I don't know if this is the lower calyptra? If it is, then this is: Melinda gentilis or Melinda viridicyanea isn't it? Only to identify by genitalis? |
