Hello! This Nematocera I found yesterday at an apple tree on a meadow (Ostwestfalen/Germany). It was about 6-7 mm long and reminded me of a Sylvicola. But the antennae look odd. Also one wing seems to be deformed. What is it? Thanks in advance! Well Juergen, I think you're quite right with Sylvicola. This one has had problems emerging from the pupa I guess, hence the deformed antennae and wing. Greetings, Greetings, Gerard Pennards |

Sylvicola is indeed very numerous here at the moment (even more than at other times).
