Spain, Almeria, 15 August 1983.
length 13 mm, specimen has hind margin of eye with a short, sharp indentation

Thyridanthrax perspicillaris Loew, there are some very similar species but with such a good shot of a specimen in good condition i am as confident as one can get with a photo
