It wasn't until I took this photo that I realised what an interesting proboscis this has. Male, 10mm, from 19 August 2006, east London cemetery park. This one was taken from a large group of the same species feeding on ragwort. Susan R Walter attached the following image:  [163.03Kb] Susan |
