Aphidoletes aphidimyza larvae

Hello. I discovered some A. aphidimyza larvae in some leaves of a plant near my home (I live near Padova, Italy). As you can see these larve literally suck aphid contents after paralyze it, but often the aphid carrion is left partially un-eaten. Today one of the pupae hatched and I was able to get some photos of the adult (was very little, near 2 mm, and not quiet, so it was pretty hard to get decent photos!). Hope you will enjoy these pics.
