Id request on small fly

I don't know if the feathery antennae on this small (about 3mm) fly are enough of a giveaway to ID it? Taken last week near the base of an Oak Tree in Richmond Pk in SW London. Edited by Toby on 12-01-2007 21:34 |

Yes thanks for your help Brian. I'm sure Pierred has the right family but so far I have not found a midge with this type of regal plumage.
