I think the following individual with the deformed wings shows the same species. http://xespok.net/gallery2/main.php/v/Arthropoda/Insecta/Diptera/Stratiomyidae/Beris+Actina+41129.jpg.html The problem with this fly is that the description of no Beridinae sp. fits well for the image. For example based on my literature the legs should be black save for the hind femur (the base of which should be yellow in females) in Actina. Yet in this individual all femurs seem to be yellow. According to Rozkosny, the leg colour of Actina is variable, the females usually having yellow bases to the fermora, but sometimes the fore- and mid-femora may be all yellow.
