Hello!

I guess this is Opomyza florum, right? Also from our garden yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Length about 3-4 mm.

Yes, you are right! This is Opomyza florum. It looks like a female to me.

Thanks! I like these flies :-). Here is another one from yesterday. It seems rather grey to me, but should be O. florum, too (?). This species is by far the most abundant Opomyzid I'm observing here.

You are right again!Smile
There is some variation in the coloration of this species. Some are more greyish.
I have to admit that in the habitats I visit, Opomyza germinationis and Opomyza petrei are much more abundant.
