Place: everywhere on the trees

I was in Crete in August and this cicadas were thronging and chirping aloud on the trees. When I was in Knossos the cicadas caused ear-splitting voice.

LOL! Indeed they make a lot of noise, but we Cretans are used to them! Grin

No, we don't use them for anything :-)
I just mean that we get used to the noise after a while and it doesn't bother us!
