Location: Hungary Date: 2006-05-24 Place: garden I could not make a decide that it is a Thymelicus sylvestris or an Ochlodes venatum. This butterfly flew around the plants in my garden. I have taken two images from it. eguzki attached the following image:  [90.14Kb] |

Hi Eguzki, I'd say Ochlodes venata male. Look at the orange squares on the forewings (it's the only one with those squares as far as I know, and the light part of the antennae. Cheers. Andr? Jas |
