Hi, I found these on a steppe landsace in the Great Hungarian Plain. Body almost 20 mms long. Can someone help?

It's Stenopogon. It could be tristis. The description corresponds to the key Seguy. The scutellum is it red? Very nice! |

The entire scutum is really reddish I've never seen because it is only in Hungary. I would really like to have the opinion of Dysmachus. |

Sorry, I'm unable to identify species of the genus Stenopogon. There is a great need for a revision and some colleagues thought about it in the past. Unfortunately, so many species are described (or better poorly described) without notes on the male genitalia which have good characters. LEHR produced a key without a real revision. So if you have time, please start - they are so beautiful and great animals. Yours |
