Hello,
is there any idea which insect or spider builds such cocoons? The bottom diameter was about 8mm. From the cocoon hatched 7 Gelis discedens (det. M. Schwarz).
Thanks, Marion

On which plant was the cocoon? Near a pond?
It looks like a cocoon of Tetragnatha sp to me, but I'm not a specialist at all.
Greetings from Provence

Thank you for answer.
Yes, I found the cocoon in a wet region with small ponds. It was fixed on reed. Tetragnatha`s are also present there.
