C. festivum is highly probable. However, species ID is more safe with shots from different angles. You need to see the antenna segments to compare their lengths, and the bases of the femora, and possibly the katepisternum... See the key http://web.archiv...x_key.html. |

Hi Sundew, many thanks for the key! It leads me clearly to point 11. Then on this pic that I found yet it looks as if the femora were entirely yellow, only the trochanter black. Interpretation correct? Then it should be C. festivum indeed...
