Found today 28/06/11 on Hogweed Uk weather Hot /Humid this Bee Mimic confirmation of species appreciated

Yes - very common at the moment on hogweeds and a very atypical Cheilosia, in that it is easy to field identify Smile
Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London.
