Here are my last "unknown family" flies. Alle specimen were photographed on the south side of the highest mountain of Austria. Perhaps there is any interesting species. Family ids are welcome too - all specimen are collected. Thanks in advance Frank #8360 Austria / K?rnten: Gro?glockner, Hoher Sattel, 2200m, VIII.2004 #8372 Austria / K?rnten: Gro?glockner, Hoher Sattel, 2200m, VIII.2004 #8391 Austria / K?rnten: Gro?glockner, Hoher Sattel, 2200m, VIII.2004 #0257 Austria / K?rnten: Gro?glockner, Hoher Sattel, 2200m, VIII.2004 Edited by Frank Koehler on 31-10-2006 00:58 --------------------------------------------------- Col.: http://www.koleop...de/gallery Het.: http://www.hetero... --------------------------------------------------- |

I think they are all anthomyiids, but one or two might be muscids. It's difficult to tell without having the specimens, or recognising the species.

Thanks, Tony! I understand, it?s like you would mail me Staphylinidae But to know that there are no unexpected families is a progress for me too. Best regards Frank Any additional suggestions? |
