Hello, starting a new family I have to ask for assigning: This shoud be the most common species - or not? The photos are taken in our garden. Thanks in advance Frank #3547 Germany / NRW: Bornheim, VI.2003 #1866 same location, V.2006 Edited by Frank Koehler on 22-10-2006 14:52 --------------------------------------------------- Col.: http://www.koleop...de/gallery Het.: http://www.hetero... --------------------------------------------------- |

Three Calliphora females - the middle one is vicina, the commonest species. The other two are probably vicina, but I'm not 100% certain.

Thank you very much Tony! #1 and #2 are the same specimen and I think in #3 I see a little bit orange too (have no frontal portrait). The next common Calliphoridae will follow Best regards Frank |
