This one is Philonthus I believe (right Frank?). Common, about 15 mm long, mid. october. Any chance to go to species level???

Thanks,
Andr

Hi Andr?, unfortunately this is the most common Philonthus species: Philonthus cognatus. Special characteristics: first segment of the antennae is ventral yellow. Best regards Frank

Hi Frank,
I suspected it was common, but your characteristic is just the thing I need! Thank you.
