Hallo if your animal locks like that one and has no hairs on the eyes and dark hind femurs, it is probably a Syrphus vitripennis female. May be an expert can confirm my suggestion. Maja dipdip attached the following image: ![]() [97.76Kb] |

the 3 is a Melanostoma sp. female but I cannot say which one. Maja |
