Hello! I've got a photo of a robber fly, taken between Maas and Rhine in Germany these days.  Is there somebody in this great forum here, who can help me, to determine this species? Thank you very much, Martin... |

I took the liberty of moving the thread to the Syrphidae forum, because that is where it belongs. Something Xylota-like, but it takes someone with more recent experience than me to tell exactly what species.
