Hello!

I've got a photo of a robber fly, taken between Maas and Rhine in Germany these days.

I took the liberty of moving the thread to the Syrphidae forum, because that is where it belongs. Something Xylota-like, but it takes someone with more recent experience than me to tell exactly what species. Wink

I think, it is Xylota segnis, a male.
