Last call. Can someone at least confirm it's Aeshnidae? |

Dear Jeroen Yes it is an Aeshnidae of the genus Aeshna (normal eyes). species ID difficult although photo 2 may show it has a relative long mentum, so most likely A. cyanea or A. mixta. You may try to post it on waarnemingen.be or waarneming.nl or try this site:http://exuviae.go... Edited by atylotus on 14-05-2011 09:29 |

Thanks a lot, atylotus! I posted it already on waarnemingen.be and I tried out that website, but I didn't get any further than Aeshna sp. |

Dear Jeroen Whenever you come across another Aeshna spec, you better try to take at least a photo of the mentum (in Dutch: vangmasker). That will certainly help. Best wishes Ton (aka atylotus) |
