Hi

I know chances are slim, but maybe you (cthirion?) can identify one or more of those? 1 and 3 might be the same species?

Fair point Andre, the site is a diptera site - but this section is entitled "Other insects, spiders, etc." Smile

Hi Andr?,

I know this is a diptera site, but looking for flies one happens to see other insects aswell. And being curious I'd like to know about all insects. Therefore I put them in this section, a section that people are not interested in, just don't have to visit. So I don't understand why you are opposed to those threads?

Yeah, well, maybe I was a little bit too quick.. But on the other hand, this section was built in because too many people came up with others than diptera. So in fact it is a way to controll things. Not meant to invite people to keep on dropping too many non-diptera. At least, that is what I think about it. So, why does nobody build their own hymenoptera.info? Or apocrita.info? Could be great!
Anyway, no intention to harass anyone from my side Pfft

Hi Andre,

I would like that too! But untill there is no (good) alternative forum for hymenoptera like Ichneumonidae I believe that we should accept the fact that curious people (like myself) try to find out what they photographed on this forum aswell. I really don't see much harm in that. Do you?

As long as the other ones do not take over, every thing is welcome. And Who will tell, some of those non-Ditpera may actually parasitise Diptera, predate on them, or serve as food themselves. Wink
