Well Andr?, I would say none of the three genera mentioned! This is the male of Dasysyrphus albostriatus, well recognised by the two white lines on the thorax! Greetings, Gerard Greetings, Gerard Pennards |

Thank you Gerard, maybe I should buy that book that van Veen wrote? Is it any good? I don't know much about syrphs or any other family for that matter. That still is my problem: where do I find good ID-ing info on the different families? Not the right place for this discussion, I know. Thanks again. Andr |
