I do not think this head belongs to a Tachinid fly, rather Calliphoridae or Muscidae. Do you have another photo of the same individual from a different angle? |

no. just this one. The fly had a very bluish metalic body. SO Perhaps Calliphoridae fly? |

The arista is hairy, so my bets are on Calliphoridae / Muscidae Theo |
