the white hairs on the tibia 3 are apparently absent.

Wow: wonderful! This is Dasyllis haemorrhoa -- a Laphriinae (Mallophora is Asilinae). This species is the best Eulaema mimic.

Note the different antennae: parallel- sided, blunt at tip; Asilinae antennae taper to a fine point (aristate). The wing venation would also be very different...

Please add to gallery.
