Hello! Is this a Microchrysa species (length 3-4 mm)? And is the one with the large eyes a male of the same species? Again photographed at night in Ostwstfalen/Germany, three days ago. Thanks in advance! Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Hello, Paul! Paul Beuk wrote: indeed Microchrysa but I cannot give species name. Also a Pollenia. Was not sure about the genus, because I never saw it in late September, thanks! Pollenia on the other side is very numerous now (also comes into our house).
