Hi Switzerland, 27.06.2010, highmoor, 965 msm Could it be Syrphus ribesii, a male? There are no hairs on the eyes visible . . . and I hope, that the pic shows colour of the legs enough clear. Edit: Sorry, found short hairs on the "downside" of the eyes - meens it is Syrphus torvus? Any adjustment/confirmation would be appreciated. Can't find any hairs, but it would be better to look with a magnifying glass. So male Syrphus spec. |
