Episyrphus balteatus? - Japan

Hi, i found this fly at the island of Iriomote-jima, Japan. I think it must be Episyrphus balteatus, but to just to be sure - are there any similar species in Asia? Or is E. balteatus the only double-banded Syrphid around in the world? rgds Geir gedra attached the following image: [183.47Kb] Geir |

As far as I know, the only palaearctic species of Episyrphus is balteatus. |
