Hi not mine photo. This was taken on 17th september in shropshire. tachinidae fly? It seems to have so many bristles. Very reddish abdomen.  |

I have very careful in relation to this issue! The font was flickr and the name of photographer is Joanne Ellison-Brook.  No worries about this! Thank you! Really My first suspection was M. autumnalis but it seems to have many bristles in abdomen. |

Yes, I think where a photo has been published first by another person on another site it is safer to put a link to the photo. Then there can be no copyright issues and anyone here on the forum can contact the photographer directly. Would be nice also if the poster makes it clear the identification came from http://diptera.info/ too - acknowledgements usually work both ways
