Dear Dipterists,

Does anyone know or have access to any Keys to the species of fungus gnats in Britain and Ireland? Genera would suffice but I have trawled through the net and can't seem to find much!! I have a Sciarid key so that's grand but the others are evasive to say the least. Perhaps I am not looking hard enough!!

Thanks a million!

Søli, G.E.E.; Vockeroth, J.R. & Matile, L. 2000. Families of Sciaroidea. Pp. 49-92 in Papp, : & Darvas, B. (ed.) Contributions to a Manual of Palearctic Diptera, vol. 4. Science Herald, Budapest. Download link available on that page.

Good luck!

EDIT Paul Beuk: Direct download link removed and link to reference page on Sciaroidea.info added.

Rob:

According to the RES homepage there are some (damaged) books left (£ 3,-). You may consult the Fungus Gnats recording scheme of the Dipterists Forum.
