In flight!

10th October, 4 pairs of white spots.

Surely this can't be P. albimanus, the shape of the spots and abdomen shape look like Platycheirus discimanus to me.

Thanks Andre, the key I looked at stated that P.albimanus has 3 pairs of spots. That isn't the case? This has an extra pair near the tail end.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
