Found at the Burn of Valayre in August. Can anyone put a name to this?

Eupithecia, I think, but which Pug, I'm not sure - possibly Bordered (succenturiata) or Tawny Speckled (icterata)

Thanks Tony Ian Kimber @ UK Moths couldn't improve on Eupithecia sp., too many similar looking ones to ID it positively...without rearing it through, and finding it on very specific foodplants. I thought it might have been a Satyr, but it will remain in the evergrowing pile of unknown sp's. Regards Roger |
