Before submitting the picture I thought about the unusual position, but cannot give a clear statement. The photo was taken too long ago. The lateral position speaks for a dead fly. The front legs and turned head may also belong to a living one. There was no crab spider behind. That I did not take another picture tells me that it either falled down or started. The probability for the first case seems to me to be higher.
