Hi, i found quite a few beetles of this kind close to the water edge of a small lake in the beginning of June outside Oslo, Norway. I think it must be a Donacia sp. but these are quite difficult. Since i have photo of both female and male, can they be ID'ed?

A Dutch co-worker (and friend of my), Gert van Ee, suggests Plateumaris sericea and adds the following picture (see attachment). Also check http://www.kerbti...ysomelidae for the other species.
