These are conical deformations on apple tree leaves (height <=10 mm). Lower left image, bottom look. i cant find anyting crawling around. As you can see there is allway something in 'shape of spider net' inside.

I would guess that this was caused by mites (Acari) Smile
Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
