Today, I found this little moth (wingspan: 16 mm) in the hedge (Fagus sylvatica) surrounding my garden, Kapellen, Belgium. Couldn't find it in Waring & Townsend's 'Nachtvlinders' (Dutch version of 'Field Guide to the Moths of Great Britain and Ireland' ). It has a sphinx-like resting posture, with the head raised. Anyone?
