The meat I use to attract flies, this year was always quickly stolen, at least next night, sometimes even daytime too.
Voila, the Thief!

The next time use Malaise traps, and you will see local guys stealing them just for no idea why, just to steal...

Try labelling them with "Radioactive" tape - that tends to deter them (but you do get visits from the police).

Poisoned? Or are you overfeeding her so she will leave the bait alone?

Shame on you, Paul! Poison a friend? Never! Step by step we become friends with Red Bitch - see new photo.
I buy 2 portions of meat now: 1 for Fox and 1 more for Flies, the last I use in other site in 3km from my house.

This is my next door neighbour's Crap Machine which gives a constant supply of breeding material for the Piophilidae in my garden, drinks the water in my Pan Traps (must like the subtle hint of washing up liquid, hence the constant supply of crap). It also eats flies in the Pan Traps.
Its owner is from Wales, they take it for walks on a lead....maybe normal behaviour for that country...awkward

Anyone got a 12 Bore I could borrow.

Regards Roger....Cat Lover..Wink

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
