I guess this has to be Misumena vatia getting stuck into a big horsefly (Dasyrhamphus ater or D.anthracinus)? Confirmation or correction of spider (or fly!) species would be helpful.

M. vatia is known in Corsica where the photo was taken, along with M. bicolor. Can't find a pic of that but my spider looks very monocolor... Apologies to all fly lovers for the carnage portrayed...
