Nice fly indeed! Unfortunately unknown to me. We have an extra Asilid forum, where it would be placed better to attract the experts. And you should edit your thread to make that link clickable (as an author, you have that "edit" button and a collection of buttons below - check their functions, they are useful Grin!).
Best wishes, and enjoy the forum,
Sundew

Your robber fly is Hyperechia cf. bifasciata (some details are not visible, so not positive about the species). Please add this great fly to the gallery.

Hi Galeodes33,

I haven't tried that myself -- so won't be much help! Maybe ChrisR or Sundew can lend a hand...?

Regards, Eric

I did not see that I was asked for help, sorry. Meanwhile Paul told you the link, but submitting a photo is very easy:
If you are logged in as a member, you see a column of links on the left-hand side of each page. In the middle, there are "gallery links", and one of them is "Submit Photo for Gallery" (visible for members only, not for guests). It has the same effect as Paul's link. - Another, very useful link is "My Gallery Photos", especially if you have already posted a lot of them. It gives a quick overview. You will find your Hyperechia there! (After it has finally been added to the gallery by the administrator.)
