From midwest Sweden 2006-07-22. My guess is Eriothrix rufomaculata. I don't think it's skinny enough for a Cylindromyia ... even though it looked kind of thin from certain angles.

Theo's advice was closed top cell and red sides to abdomen = Eriothrix. Looks like yours has closed cells, so I think you're right to dismiss Cylindromyia.
