This larva was collected in pond near Murmansk.
Is has 4 anal tubercles besides prolegs. Is it possible to determine the genus?

It is most likely a Procladius spec. If there is no lateral fringe of hairs along abdominalsegment VII, but with only up to 3 hairs, then it is definitely Procladius.

I have not written size of larva - about 13 mm. If the seventh segment is that one the fouth from the end (I count segment with tubercles and 3 more) then there are many hairs along this segment - at least 15, No such hairs on other segments.

I usually count backwards: the segment with the procercus (with the long hairs) is the ninth.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
