Hi, This was under a fallen leaf under my Horse Chestnut tree. Approx. 2.5mm long, two spikes both ends, it has been suggested it's a Lonchoptera larva. Can anyone say which it might be, I have taken pics of a few Lonchoptera this year yet to confirm ID. Taken on 12th December 2009 near Lincoln UK. One pic only, but I might be able to find it again. Thank you atylotus! I wonder if it is acceptable to put this in the Gallery as Lonchopteridae larva, it might be useful. |
