I come here is despair, as I can´t find any clue to the ID of this heteropteran bug. Even the family (Pentatomidae ?) is uncertain. Found in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Thanks,
Joaquim Gaspar

I'd say Leptoglossus in Europe is pretty similar. So Coreidae. Coreinae.

I'd say a Zicca sp. Check Revision del genero Zicca (Hemiptera-Heteroptera-Coreidae-Coreinae-Coreini) by Brailovsky&Cadena (1992, Publicaciones especiales del Instituto de Biologia, 9, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Instituto de Biologia).

Thank you Black, I've just talked with Dr. Brailovsky! Could be a Zicca faeniola (my opinion, not his).

This work is partially available for viewing at books.google.com, a better view of pronotum and antennal segments would help, I think it's hardly taeniola (mostly Central America and the Caribbean islands, don't trust bugguide.net too much).
