Post a theme in forum, then edit it couple of times --> 5 views. By me, the author itself. Think the author should not be count in at this. Common mistake on all forums on web.

You may be right but it is part of the system and I am not going to change that. Moreover, when you look at it a later on, for example when a few people have replied, your view should count. It will be unnecessary complex to code it in such a way that all views within (for example) 15 minutes after posting by the same user are counted as one and later ones are counted separately. And if you did set it at 15 minutes, then threads with several quick replies would look really strange: perhaps five posts in the thread and only two views...

any you see at once if somebody (beside yourself) has already seen your post. As it is now, you cant see that.

As Paul said, a little complicated to do it logicaly. Perhaps only 1 count of view per 1 member, excluding original poster ...

I agree with Roger...ehhhm, Hector (sorry!). There's a Dutch word for this: muggenziften Wink (no offence!).
